United Players Prepare For Annual Hospital Visits

The Newcastle United first team squad will visit the local Tyneside Hospitals next week and as part of the preparations, Alan Pardew, along with Haris Vuckic and Sammy Ameobi put the finishing touches to the Christmas presents the players are taking on Tuesday.
Sammy said:  "It's something the players always look forward to. Being able to bring a smile to the faces of youngsters who are unfortunate enough to be in hospital at this time of year is always a pleasure for the lads."
Defender Danny Simpson added: "I really enjoyed the visit last year. Most of the children are Newcastle fans so that makes it extra special.
"We'll be telling them also that we'll be trying to get as many Christmas points for them too over the next couple of weeks!"
