Goals from Wayne Rooney and Michael Carrick sealed a comfortable win for Manchester United that saw them keep up the pressure at the top of the Barclays Premier League.
Rooney scored within 52 seconds of the kick-off and Michael Carrick ran from the halfway line before sidefooting home early in the second half.
QPR had a chance to pull one back but DJ Campbell stabbed over as United secured a sixth win in eight League matches away from home.
